The Onion Scramble on 29-Aug-2023
This is a hike easy scramble that never disappoints.Twelve of us left a not too busy parking lot at 9:15 in a clear and cool morning

We made good progress to the chokestone
Up the chokestone with a little help from trusted friends
The first two creek crossings presented no problem even with increased water volume but the last one just before the hut proved to be more challenging

By 1 pm we were all on top enjoying the extensive views and luckily no smoke
