The Fortress via Headwall Lakes Scramble on 2-Aug-2023
Not too hot, no smoke so great views, no other people except for a handful at Chester Lake, and of course great company. We were on the trail for 8 hours but at least 2 hours of that was spent sitting, standing around talking, or watching interesting things like pikas and pipits. A fantastic day on a favourite trip!
