Rummel - Chester traverse Off-Trail skiing on 27-Feb-2023
Good group, weather and snow.
About -10 C and about 120 cm of snow pack at the start of the upper valley.
Eager ski tourers near start of upper valley
Climbing the valley the group broke trail with about 20-30 cm of ski penetration.

The descent into Chester lake valley was the usual bushwack.
We started up main trail to Chester lake but called it a day before arriving at the lake.
Ski out was in very good shape and enjoyable.
