Chester Lake ski Trail skiing on 16-Nov-2022

I wanted to make another trip to Chester Lake, undeterred by its overwhelming popularity. It cannot be beat for a spectacular setting, for a minimum amount of effort, and to be rewarded at the end of the day, with a fun ski back to your point of departure.
It looked like it had its usual overwhelming popular weekend too. No new snow for us to play in, and an over use of the beloved, but effective snow plow technique, on the hill sides, left its mark.
It was icy upon our return. We used a lot of snowplow technique too...
We all knew we were taking our chances with the hill but the good company and the warmer temperatures more than made up for the conditions.
I thank my fellow adventures for joining me, and being as optimistic about the conditions as myself.
I may try again next season...
