Black Prince ski slopes Off-Trail skiing on 19-Dec-2020

Eight of us arrived at a very busy parking lot just before 9 am . A warm yet blustery day . We shared the road up with 3 other groups but once at Warspite lake began breaking trail through 2cm new snow on an old track.

The wind had filled in most of the old tracks however the underlying avalanche debris added extra excitement to the odd turn.

Even hitting the odd chunky bit there were surprisingly few head plants.

At the bottom of lap 4 we discovered that we had lost one.

Fortunately not a rambler just a skin.

Picked it up at the top of lap 5 .
