What better way to start the work week than going on a nice ridgewalk ? . After a few minutes in the forest we came upon a nice trail leading to the famous suspension bridge.

Thanks to good game trails the bushwhack was painless , once out of the trees we enjoyed the lush meadows with a spectacular flower display

. After a brief snack break we started up the long ridge , grassy at first but getting rockier in the upper section

We had a long lunch on top with just a light breeze to keep the bugs away and pleasant temperature

The Grid reference number for the Traihead in the RMR database for this hike is incorrect and has led to some confusion. It should be Grid # 289177 base on a measured UTM co-ordinate of 11 U 628923 5617741 the origin of the Grid Number.
Trail Rating should also be at least OT5 and maybe even SC5
