A rather short but rewarding outing away from the hordes plaguing other hiking destinations.We left after 10 and made our way to the four way junction mentioned in the K. trail guide , from there we took the ridge leading to hill 659780 mostly on game trails

.Just before reaching the summit we went to the right down to a couple of saddles and up the slope leading to the Three Cairns

We enjoyed a long break in the sun trying to ID all the peaks in view.


Lunch on 2nd cairn.The 1st one was already occupied by a group from Black Diamond
