Priddis to Black Diamond (Road Bike, Attempt 2) Road bike on 22-Apr-2
What could have been a cold and windy ride turned out to be quite pleasant for the 4 intrepid Ramblers who risked accompanying Chip on his first trip as co-ordinator. Fortunately, he had 3 co-ordinators in the group to offer advice and jibes throughout the ride. We took Priddis Valley Rd. to Plummers Road, headed east for a bit and then took 192 St (RR 30) which does go through, paved, all the way to Black Diamond. After a pleasant stop for lunch, either on a bench or at the Bistro depending on preference, we returned the same way, with light winds that came predominantly from the ESE. Distance: 60 km. Time: Oh, 4.5 hrs.
