Windy Peak Hills, Windy Peak 846606 loop Off-Trail hike on 7-May-2016

After two previous attempts where we were forced back due to gale force winds i was eager to complete the hike to Windy peak.
Luckily we had the perfect day, sunny and warm with only a light breeze. The initial large group soon dispersed into small subgroups
everyone walking at their own pace so at no time it felt like a high school outing. After going over four tops we tackled the easy slopes
of Windy peak, the fast ones in 2 hours.,where we enjoyed a long break. We retraced our steps back to the cars, again having to climb
all the hills for maximum exercise with a total of 2,700 feet of elevation gain.
