We left Barrier Lake Parking lot at 9:30 and met several different groups on the way. It was cloudy and comfortable temperature for hiking. When we arrived at the Junction of Jewell Pass Trail the place was fairly crowded. We continued on to the top had a short break and took some photos

. It was still early for lunch so we headed down to the junction and had our lunch

. After lunch we took the Jewel Pass trail and had few short breaks on the way and were back at the parking around 2:30 pm
