Pocaterra Ridge traverse, from South > North Off-Trail Hike on 4-Oct-

We started out with cooler temperatures (5 C) and expectations of blue skies. Any significant blue skies did not materialize till we made it down to the Little Highwood Parking Lot.

The temperature did not change much during the day. The high cloud cover still gave us excellent views in all directions. The trail along the ridge was still generally bare with only one short snowy and slippery patch over and down some rocks.

The final creek crossing at the north was fairly easy with at least two crossing options
