Six of us met for a midweek hike along the Transalta spillway


Flume along TransAlta road

(which provided a lovely airconditionned walk). At the waterfall, we headed across the creek on two logs and walked up the hill following an unofficial trail which led up to the first false summit. There were Very spectacular views of cliffs and various bumps to clamber over before we reached the cairn and flaked out in the sun.
