Day 1- Easy hike in plus a little walk in evening around Marvel Lake. Talked to Parks Canada guy who suggest not to go Marvel Pass- recent storm put a lot of dead-fall on trail. We had traditional turkey dinner in shelter. 20 km, 220 m el.gain.
Day 2- Decent forecast, no snow anywhere and parks guy advice made us to go Wonder Pass- Lake Magog- Assiniboine Pass loop. Just great decision- no snow at all, trail covered by golden needles, sunny breaks, light rain last two hours, only three other hikers on trail. 24 km, 675 m el.gain.
Day 3- going out with side trip to Karst Springs, little cooler but still very good for the time of year. 18 km, elevation not issue at all. Great weekend Thanks everyone. Christine, Yoko, Sharon, Dave, IVAN.
