Tech data: minus 17 at the parking lot at 9 a.m.; car to car 7 hours; we left the cars at 9:30 and had a great track to follow about 90% of the way, trail breaking was moderate with a ski penetration of about 20cm; we did not dig a snow profile, but no whumphs, cracks or sudden downward displacements observed and no natural avalanche activity was seen.
