After pleasant hike in forest with occasional view and night in Lower Fryatt Valley CG we reached Headwall CG and set up camp /with Headwall Falls in view permanently from tents/. Sunday afternoon after "excruciatingly steep scramble" to S.Vallance Hut we explored meadows and basin above it. Basin is surrounded by crowd of sharp glaciated peaks /Christie, Brussels, Three Blind Mice, Xerxes, Olympus, Unnamed, Bellanger,Fryatt/. I already hiked a little in my life but i could not remember many places so spectacular and impressive as this one. Bill found route to get close to falls so we did this bonus too.
