then traversed south to the summit. After lunch at the summit,
in a cool wind we traversed south on a broad ridge to a scree gully which took us most of the way down to another old logging road.
We then hiked out along this track back to the forestry road completing a loop.
There was a small amount of bush to get up to the west outlier with some fun slabs about 3/4 of the way up making it an SC-5 for a short distance. These slabs may have been avoidable but we didn't really bother to check.
A highly recommended scramble with slab and easy rock on the way up, a broad ridge hike with scree on the way down. Present were Alda, Sim, Joan, Janet and Bob coordinator and scribe. Thanks for coming out, ladies.
