First we hiked Mt.Shank L/O on overgrown trail with a lot of deadfalls/prime location for bushwacking 101/. Going down we found ourselves in middle of thunderstorm and had to take cover in cars. We waited for some time,it was not easing so we drove off up to north and we hit end of storm around Numa Falls. We decided to hike a little there. We followed roaring creek for couple of hours crossing several avalanches and having adventurous creek crossing/bridge out/. Even with weather not cooperating/showers on-off/ we had interesting full day of hiking. Thanks everyone for participation. Total 20 km, 620 m el.gain.
