Sparrowhawk Tarns Off-Trail Hike on 3-Sep-2006

It was a cool morning driving to the Sparrowhawk Parking Place, but it warmed up very fast, going up the steep trail to the Sparrowhawk Tarns We had no problems following the easy trail. At one point we could see Mt. Sparrowhawk very clearly.

to get to our lunch place. Here we had lunch and enjoyed the views. The skies were blue, and no cloud to be seen, the Temperature was 25C. We could see the ridge going up to Mt. Bogart and the scree field coming down from Red Ridge, and one of the tarns.
