White Man Pass and Mount Vavasour Backpack Off-Trail Hike on 30-Jun-2

Saturday: Good weather, hiked from Mt Shark Parking area up the Spray Valley Trail then on the trail to White Man Pass. Forded Currie Creek which was just over knee deep and cool! Made camp at Lake at the head of Cross River on BC side. We could not avoid pitching the tents on some of the glacier lilies. Two of us found the route through cliffs to the ridge of Red Man Mountain.
