As we left the parking lot the hot sun was already melting the night frost and it didn't take too long to warm up and shed all the extra clothing. The conditions were just right for the ridgewalk , warm and a gentle breeze to cool us off. After lunch at the usual place ,just before the crux downclimb, we went down the scree gully to the dry creek and eventually intersected the valley trail. Itwas fun to walk in the canyon that some in the group have never visited. After the 3.5 km plod on the old road we arrived at the cars at 4:35 pm.
