This hike has always been one of my favourites.
When we arrived at the trailhead the temperature was 2deg.C.
That made it a comfortable start.

This changed quickly as we left the shade and into the sun.
We were rewarded with clear views and cloudless skies.

At the lower elevation the larches were just starting to change colour. Higher up the change was well underway as you will see from the photo.
