Road bike; 1A hwy from Banff to Castle Junction Road bike on 13-Sep-2

An enjoyable day in Banff for cycling with mixed sun & cloud; a coolish start but warming to a nice cycling temperature. The road was damp at the beginning in shady areas but the precipitation had moved on except for two short sprinkles of rain. Quite a few people on a midweek day were taking advantage of the closure to vehicles on most of the route. A small black bear was beside the road chowing down on grass and the only other animals noted were two Steller's Jay at the Castle Junction picnic tables. Bike count was seven 100% human powered bikes and three ebikes.

Thanks for joining me goes to participants: Garry, Joe, Barbara, Gary, Brenda, David, Jeannette, Inge andJim. Ron C/S/P.
