Iceline high point out & back Trail hike on 20-Aug-2023
AS first light broke over the city of Calgary, smoke and fog seemed to be present. Objective was clear, drive about 2 hours to trailhead confirmed little better conditions, and to our surprise parking area was rather crowded. All meeting we started our adventure, I find this a nice hike up thru the timber, regrouping at times, water breaks, snacks, all came into play. At sometimes it was like dancing on air, pristine settings, sound of silence, was our day to enjoy.

A wonderful day in Yoho National Park. We reached close to halfway, starting our decent before lunch break. Sun almost breaking out at times, but conditions favorable, brought us to the Stanley Mitchell Hut for a little extened break and lookabout.

Peter always willing to help, the great director! Others helping out, trail well signed it was again also a wonderful hike thru the big timber. Meeting others at times, stopping at Laughing Falls made for a great experiance. A good walk out back along Yoho River brought us back to parking area. I would classify this hike as one of the top ones this year, distance, views, pristine, all around enjoyable. I thank all that joined me to bring this together.
