It was a great day to get out of the city and start the transition away from skiing. Warm, sunny, and lots of interesting things along the trail including a recent kill site (tons of fur and blood, but no body), feral horse hangouts (although we didn't see the horses themselves), lots of birds, and beautiful blue ice on the creeks. We hiked clockwise, which turned out to be a good choice because the sections of glare ice on Prairie had softened slightly by the time we got there. We only saw 2 other people on the trail, but dozens of cars back at the winter gate.

Participants: Jane, Donna, Ingrid coordinator.

It's spring!
