Descriptor of the day: Smooth. It remained overcast all day with very light snow falling. Kick and glide was very good as we started counterclockwise on Pipestone, a bit of new snow on good tracks. There was time at the junction to Mud Lake for a group photo:

No views of any peaks at Mud Lake. We cruised up to the north end where we had lunch, then down the west side of Pipestone and down Hector:

Back up west Pipestone with the grip on the hills remaining excellent, to the Pond, then across Drummond and down east Pipestone. Not very busy, we only saw 8 other skiers and one hiker all day. Thanks everyone for the company on a really good trip.

Stats: temp -6C at 10:05am start, 0C at 3 pm finish. distance per map: 20.2 km. Animal tracks seen on the trails, but no critters. On the drive animals: a coyote near Calgary, a herd of elk in Canmore.
