Driving along the Trans Canada was fine until we reached Morley Flats where there was a very thick fog which made driving hairy scary. In fact, I nearly missed the Kananaskis turnoff. Having doubts about the trip but thinking that the fog would lift I continued on until Barrier, where the fog actually lifted and the weather brightened considerably. As the five of us, and Chester, proceeded up to the lookout, the sun came out and we actually had blue sky. There was hardly any snow and we were in microspikes the whole day as the trail was very icy. Trail was fairly busy, mainly with young women and a group called the Summit Sisters. Thanks to all for a lovely day. Participants: Christine,Kim,Jim,Jozef,Michael.
