The forecast was ominous with 30% chance of snow when I left Calgary and the dark clouds over the mountains were not very reassuring either. I checked the forecast again at the Info Centre and it had changed to 80% chance of snow.

So we were pleasantly surprised when we had very little, almost no precipitation and certainly less than the drizzle we experienced on the drive back into town.

Winter Wonder Land

There was more snow than expected in certain areas and one participant decided to put on her icers.
