Ramblers know this park from cycling through it but rarely explore it on foot. I also found out that Confluence Park is a popular destination for bird watchers.
No exciting bird sightings for us, but we saw 4 deer and a coyote pup.
And of course we took pictures at the Split Rock, "one of the best known glacial erratics in the city" according to the City of Calgary website.
