Sunny day, cool canyon.
Once again being blessed with sunny skies, warm temps, the group of 4 set out for an excursion. On this one there was a few rocks along the trail, or some might say, many rocks. With the ability to step from rock to rock in someplaces, almost as if moving on a checker board advancement was made.

Jura Creek, within the Slot Canyon, cool place to be.

This is the slot canyon, about an inch or two of water flowing down, made for easy progress, a cool spot to be. Making our way further up the creekbed, about halfway we come to the slabs, where Joe claims water seems as it flows uphill when the creek is a more forcefull element.

and proceed to the high point of our day. Round trip about 14km, I believe a wonderful day was enjoyed, good conversation, with a light shower that waited until we were back in the vehicles. I thank those that made this trip possible, and hope to do it again. Participants: Joe, Douglas, Christine and Lenard Scribe Lenard.
