We weren't sure what to expect after last sunday's snowfall, however a couple of days of strong Alberta sun and all the snow was gone with the trails other than the odd muddy patch being in excellent condition. We did the loop in a clockwise direction and a couple of hours later we were relaxing in warm sunshine and enjoying the extensive views. We followed the ridge on return with a second stop at the viewpoint. Back at the cars at 3.00 pm.
