It was a nice sunny day, but with the usual cool wind. The trails were bare and dry, except for one icy section as we climbed the last hill back to the parking lot. The once pleasant lunch spot , chosen because it is sheltered from the wind, is now exposed to a new housing development in Cochrane and also to the depredations of cattle that have been allowed on this portion of the trail.

Lunch out of the wind - Janet, Enrique, Carmie, Anita, Jim, Marianne, Marietta

The hike remains a good one to do because of the spectacular views of the front ranges of the Rockies along almost its entire length.
Thanks to Anita, Jim, Marianne, Carmie, Marietta, Enrique, and Janet for joining me. Brian C/S/P
