The parking lot at the trailhead was very icy and one person slipped while getting out of the car, convincing most of us to put on traction devices right away. However, the trail turned out to be either dry or slightly damp and the tractions devices were not needed at all.

A nice dry trail

A slight breeze from the west provided a warm temperature and so we had a very enjoyable hike to the lunch stop on top of the ridge

.After a relaxed lunch while enjoying the view of the West Bragg Creek area, we headed back down the ridge, arriving at the cars about 3:15.
Thanks to Darlene, Francisco, Linda, Robert, Mohsen, Peter, Ginger, and Barb for joining me on this pleasant day. Brian C/S/P
