Twelve of us met at the Golden Airport and sorted and weighed our gear before loading onto the helicopter and flying out to Amiskwi Lodge. We dovetailed with another group coming out. The lodge is very comfortable with two wood stoves that were very popular.

We generally skied together as a group but usually divided up into an A group and the Other A Group. The first two days we explored the area and skied Posthumous Bowl and really enjoyed the visibility and good snow. We also skied Burnt Timber and spent the day there. This was very popular as it provided excellent snow conditions.

If we had energy we would have a singsong: Bob on guitar and Chip on drums.

There were lots of opportunity for skiing.

One day we skied up to Crystal Ridge

however, there was poor visibility and a high wind so the group split. However, it was good to get back to the hut and watch the Burning Wood Channel.

Ivan and Christine

Generally, the snow conditions were excellent and the temperature comfortable but at times the visibility was a problem.

The food, company and skiing were excellent, and everybody helped-especially with hauling water.
