Blue bird day with a chilly start, around -16 C with light wind at 9 am.
About a metre of settled snowpack in sheltered areas.
Followed an existing uptrack (ski and snowshoe) and then broke trail above trees to the knoll (max altitude of 2148 m).

Last few metres to climb and then lunch up on the knoll

Saw two ice climbers from Spain. Good day out (no other skiers). Coffee stop at Storm Mountain Lodge.
