It's not often I get to ski with the A team, or the Red Bull types, but today was one of those days-fast.

We did 20 km in 4 hrs and 30 min. We started from Nakiska Lodge (warm and toasty) before heading up to Skogan Pass. It was -19 but no wind- we even had sun at the top. Great views - after a quick snack at the top, we layered up and skied down. via Skogan Loop. The trail was in excellent condition-groomed and track set. Very fast going down. When we got to the lodge it was -8. Thanks to Peter, Jim, Brian and Rolf for a good trip

Christine
