A nice mild but cloudy day in the mountains. The snow felt good on the uptrack with Manfred leading the way to the bottom of the run. No whumping, no cracking, no sign of avi activity and after Carl did a quik pit we were off on the uptrack. Snow was the best so far this year. With 30 cm of light powder on a supportive midpack sitting of course on a foot of facets with some wind affect higher up.
