On a rather balmy and windy day we had a good ski at the south end of P. Lougheed Park. Coverage on Boulton trail was adequate as we started out, although some of us had waxing issues - those on non-wax skis did fine. We had a regroup stop at the Hydroline Junction:

There didn't appear to be any new snow on the trail and the snow that was flying around in the air appeared to be blowing from off the trees. For the most part the sky had a misty, blustery appearance:

We continued up to Blueberry Lookout but strong wind and no views led to a retreat back along the trail for a sheltered lunch. It was a great run down Blueberry as well as continuing down Elk Pass trail. Fox Creek was still okay, although the waxing skiers started losing grip along the way.

The return along Boulton was less inspiring with lots of pine needles having been deposited during the day and the downhills had a kind of glazed slushiness- might be quite icy when it freezes. Start temperature -3C, finish temperature +1C.

Thanks to a fun group for joining me. Participants: Ron C/S/P, Barbara, Carmie, Anne, Richard
