We started out under sunny skies and a more chilly than expected minus 14. The Lower Tramline trail up to the Moraine Lake road was in good shape with recently set tracks. We continued along the road until the turn off for Fairview where we paused for a brief rest and discussion. We decided to continue on the road for about 3 km, which was also in good shape, until the top of the longest hill. This gave us the opportunity to glide back down to the Fairview junction. Fairview was skier trackset and a bit bumpy in places and I was glad to be skiing clockwise, hence going downhill on the gentler grades. Snow coverage was good. Closer to the hotel and parking lot, there were signs of shovelling more snow onto the trail. We descended back to the car down the tramline which was an efforrtless way to end our ski.

We covered a bit over 20km and 400m vertical
