It was a lovely day to stroll up the east ridge of Yamnuska and admire the views. The sun was shining, fresh snow covered the branches of the vegetation and blanketed the trail with a few fluffy centimeters. We saw the paw prints of a wolf and other smaller critters as we ascended the trail. After reaching the top of the ridge, we opted to descend to a sunny spot for lunch. The temperature was reasonable for this time of year; about -10C when we arrrived and -3C at the lunch spot depending on whose thermometer was consulted.
