After driving through dense fog on the way to the trailhead, we wondered what kind of weather to expect. The conditions turned out to be pretty good, with overcast skies broken occasionally with sun, and no wind or precipitation.Despite the lack of sunshine, the orange and yellow leaves in the the tree copses showed brilliantly. We enjoyed a short ( for the coordinator) lunch at Windmill Lookout.
