A bit of a cool start, but we didn't get far up the trail before layers started coming off. Weather was perfect: not too hot, lots of sun and barely a breeze all day. After a steady climb to the ridge we paused for a break at the junction with the ridge trail. Then onward across the ridge to Jumpingpound Summit. Lots of flowers were in bloom on the ridge.

After a nice leisurely lunch where we watched group after group arrive at the summit (most from the summit trailhead), we started to head back across the ridge. Back at the cars at 2:50pm.

Thanks to the participants for a great day!
