This trip was Plan B when my original trip was cancelled due to a road closure I was unaware of. I quite like this ridge loop close to town. My ulterior motive was to see if I could find the white mesh bag I had left at the top of Swany’s ridge the month before (not found) plus the blue foam pad that disappeared during the descent (found!).

I had anticipated a sunny day but that happened in Calgary, not where we went. The morning started with a very light drizzle that ended around 11:00am as we reached the top of the first ridge. A system had moved in the day before and we were on the edge of this system with the mountains to the west obscured and Bragg Creek in sunshine!
