Great week at Assiniboine PP. Hot days- very warm nights. No smoke Monday, little smoky rest of days. Really smoky and falling ash Thursday evening after new fire started close to Verdant Creek one. Closing park Friday morning as we were leaving. Very enjoyable group.
Monday- Wonder Peak/2835 m/ Decent trail except top which is unpleasant pile of rubble. Extensive views. Had to be done because is there.

Tuesday- Windy Ridge/2635m/ Good trail but top just pile of rubble. Beautifull meadows all day.

Wednesday- Nub Peak/2748 m/. Walk up peak with easy trail from lodge to top. Going back going down on very steep unofficial trail to Elizabeth Lake then Sunburst Valley with Sunburst and Cerulean Lakes. Christine and Yoko went side trip to Chucks Ridge while rest was soaking feet in lake.

Thursday- Wonder Pass viewpoint and Lake Magog loop. Very enjoyable walks.
