Having done this hike many years ago i remember two things , the expansive views and the abundance of ticks. The views are still there but no ticks were encountered , maybe because of the late and cool spring ??. The trail was in good condition with the the exception of a couple of hundred meters where it hugs the eastern aspect of Junction hill ,still some deep snow drifts left from the winter.It was cool and windy as we proceeded to the high point where we had our rather short lunch break. The return went without incident arriving at the cars at 3:15 for a 5 hours day including breaks.
