In order to avoid doing a car shuttle we left the cars at the Nash meadows parking lot , roughly equidistant from the start of the S.E ridge and the finish in the Gorge creek road. The grassy slopes were totally bare and only in the forest we encountered a few inches of snow.The open summit of lowly Missinglink mt. offers good views to the west

In pleasant conditions we enjoyed a relaxed lunch before continuing down the south ridge.
