This was a full day tour with good snow, fair temperatures, some views, no wind and good company as usual. It was -15c when we started up the ski out around 8.45am and -8c on return at 5.30pm. With a few breaks we reached Skoki Lodge about 12.45pm for a leisurely picnic lunch supplemented by tea and coffee supplied by the lodge for a small donation. We started back by 2.00pm and were back at the cars by 5.30pm despite one member feeling off-colour. On the return drive, the highway west of Banff felt slippery due to some daytime flurries but was uneventful. Thanks to all for making this a good day despite a rather negative weather forecast. Database stats show 28 km, 1100m elevation gain in 9 hours.
