After few good early spring hikes somewhere else than Bragg Creek this time mother nature denied our wish. There was much more snow /and ice/ than we expected. High line trail was sheet of ice since beginning to end. That was no problem with icers. Then we turn off to Grassi Knob and continued for little while. Very steep and icy, ice tools will help. It was not enjoyable and going back may be suicidal, so we turn back on Highline. Zorica remembered going to Grassi Lake from this side so we did that. Virtually no snow by Grassi Lake just trail down /with crowd in runners/ sheet of ice. Not bad day after all. Thanks everyone.
