Midnight peak proved to be a good choice for a late season summit,with black clouds to the west we enjoyed a mostly sunny day.
Quite windy at times but not too cold. After a rather short lunch on the summit we completed the loop descending the west ridge
to the last high point and then steeply down to rejoin the trail.
