Day 1- Uneventful skiing to EP Hut. We got there at 1:00 pm and after lunch we decided to do Morning Glory-Linda-Cataract Brook loop. Part between Morning Glory and Linda was very challenging /steep,deep snow and 2-3 feet deep post-holes from snowshoer/. Back just before dark. We had small cabin for ourselves, large one was taken by family of 16 for celebration. Later they asked us for help and we gladly did /we had to eat a lot of Tacos and drink red wine,so they have not to carry it down/. Day 2- We skied on the lake /Greg called it beautiful part of trip-scenery was spectacular/. Then we downhill to PL- one of best I ever had there /skis whistling on hard surface and fresh air cooling hot heads of three O.F./. Finally dropping heavy packs, we intend to travel light to Ross Lake but there were no tracks going that direction. Only tracks visible there were going up- we followed them until we had enough climbing. Then we did some telemarking pre-101 /skins on/ in deep snow on steep slope between trees and wandering around valley bottom until was time to go. We end having Sunday half-price pizza at Mitillinis /John knows!!/. Excellent weekend, great company. Thanks John and Greg. IVAN
