Amiskwi Lodge:Indoor Composting Toilet
Amiskwi Lodge has two indoor composting toilets for guest use. After doing one's business, one puts a small scoop of supplied sawdust down the toilet which aids in the decomposition of the human waste. A fan powered by solar panels through batteries is running continually. When used correctly, these toilets are odour free.
